Each portion of this piece was created separately and then put together to enable the whole. The board frame started out with recycled paperclay and then I moved into using encaustics. The form on the board was made from 5 different pieces of driftwood enjoined by paperclay and encased in it as well. A fine pen was used to accent it. Steel rods were welded together and a single rod bent to play with the collective lines of the piece.
